Set each artist's commission rate and what it's based on. Commission is always worked out after all discounts, including order-level codes, and excluding shipping.
Sale price: a percentage of what the customer paid for the print, framed or not.
Unframed value: on a framed print, a percentage of what the same size would cost unframed, so the frame isn't included.
These are the real costs Gelato has invoiced you, averaged by size and framing for each destination, VAT included. They are learned from your own orders and update as more come in. Estimates are only ever used for orders Gelato has not yet invoiced. Type a figure to override any row.
Canvas is fulfilled by Printumo, so its costs never appear in the Gelato invoices the print model learns from. Enter what Printumo charges you, excluding VAT. Portrait and landscape share a row, because a 30 × 40 costs the same as a 40 × 30, so 24 sizes cover the whole range.
You are not charging VAT at checkout, so any VAT owed comes out of the order value rather than being added to it. Set the rate for each destination and the dashboard deducts it as a cost. Leave a country out and no VAT is applied to it. Confirm the treatment with your accountant before relying on these figures.
Shopify Payments fees are read from your actual payouts, so these rates are not used for them. They cover PayPal and anything else that never enters a Shopify payout, and any order too recent to have settled yet. Cross-border is added on top for orders shipping outside the UK, which is where PayPal's higher rates come from.
Live Meta spend uses META_ACCESS_TOKEN and META_AD_ACCOUNT_ID from Vercel. Add manual entries below for any spend that does not come through.
Anything you pay for on a repeating basis: Shopify, apps, email, design tools, accounting. Each cost is spread evenly across the days it covers, so a range of any length gets its fair share rather than the whole charge landing on whichever day the card was billed.
When a price goes up or you move to a bigger plan, press Price change and enter the new amount. It applies from that date on, and every earlier month keeps charging what you actually paid.
When you cancel something, press Stop rather than deleting it. It comes off your profit from that day forward while the months you already paid for keep it, so your history stays true. Delete only removes things added by mistake.
People you pay by the hour or the month, where the amount changes: a VA, a designer, a part-time wage. Enter what you actually paid them in each month. The cost is spread across the days of that month, so a short date range gets its fair share rather than nothing or everything.
One-off costs: creator payments, free products sent, tools, kit. Use the arrows to move between months. Only the month you are looking at is shown, so the list stays short.
